 Bracken is an actor, producer and singer/songwriter who grew up in a small town in Northern Alberta, Canada called Peace River. From a young age, she was enthralled with the world of theatre which eventually led to her obtaining her Master of Arts Performance Degree in Musical Theatre at theprestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Shortly after graduating, Bracken led an exciting performing career in the UK for eight years touring in stage shows such as SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER(English Theatre Frankfurt and No. 1 UK tour), WASTED LOVE, FOUR FEMMES ON THAMES, and CLINTON THE MUSICAL. She also spent several summers at the Edinburgh International Fringe Festival.

 

Once back in Canada, Bracken unintentionally fell into the world of film and television when she was cast as Rose Adams in the Canadian drama series FRANKIE DRAKE MYSTERIES (CBC). To date, her on-screen resumé continues to grow with several credits to her name including the Canadian Screen Awards winning digital series PEOPLEWATCHING (CBC GEM), ELVIS JONES, HERO: INSPIRED BY THE EXTRAORDINARY LIFE AND TIMES OF MR ULRIC CROSS, STORY A, SHORT TERM SENTENCE, EXPRESSION, and INNER QUEST. She has also worked on a new video game withUBISOFT, has sung on ROYAL CANADIAN AIR FARCE, and has acted and played trumpet in a Michael Bublé video. Most recently, Bracken was cast in her dream role as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde the Musical where she received rave reviews for her performance. 

 

Coming up next, Bracken can be seen starring in her biggest role yet as Jill in Oscar nominated actor Viggo Mortensen’s highly anticipated directorial debut FALLING, about a conservative father who moves from his rural farm to live with his gay son's family in Los Angeles. Following its recent success at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival, and its official selection at the 2020 Cannes Film Festival, the feature film will be screening at the 2020 Toronto International Film Festival this September.

 

When Bracken puts on her producing and directing hats, she adds her expertise to her own company Blahzay Creative INC (Channel 4 UK) and is currently producing and developing two new pilots, WASTING LOVE and PAKWÂCI (WILDS OF CANADA) set to release late 2020.

 

As a singer/songwriter, Bracken started working on original songs after voicing the character Flossy in CBC GEM's PEOPLEWATCHING. She recently released her first original song JUST KEPT WALKING.

 

Bracken now splits her time between London, UK, and Toronto working on both theatre and screen.
